dios...se siente como tomarse unas 3 lora antes de la cama, pero aunque estas a 3 pasos nunca llegas a ella y te arrastras como un gusano balbuceando seguramente lo del disco...quiero un cuchillo que me rebane las extremidades y asi poder tener la fuerza de propulsion de un pulpo dejando la mancha de sangre en vez de tinta. quieroun cuchillo antes de llegar a mi tumbaa y asi agilizar las cosas.

This is a skilled album. there is so much atmosphere and maybe its just my perspective, but alot of the songs have a really frightening tone. Really quiet horror. i keep expecting Fuck Eyes to collapse into a powerful melody but it never does, it just keeps pulling you along in tension, no release. very interesting. In Candy Corpse the initial drum sound is such deep bouncing & the vocals are so lonely and introspected. i love this oscillating sound ghost blues, and all the layers. its great. and the buzz of the guitar along with its warm inviting sound. lots of contrasts between warm & cold sounds. Dizzy few days is brain splitting. This is one of my favorite Hobo Cult releases.

I bumped into these guys on myspace last week. There are a series of Montreal based bands who are all related, through Hobo Cult Records, and they're all pretty great. But this album in particular I really enjoyed. Don't know what to compare it to really. It's droney at times, it's noisy at times, it's abstract goodness, lo-fi insanity at it's finest. It's like haunting circus music, a busted radio, and a choir of alien pods, all being orchestrated and played by a possessed heroin junkie in an empty warehouse, deep below the earth surface! Don't you fucking hate bullshit hodgepodge art-fuck descriptions like that?! Me Too! So just get it! cuz it's good!

Also, if this band were massively succesful (cough, Radiohead), everyone would call this a brilliant marketing scheme - they've offered their whole album for download. Radiohead, they are not. You should download this anyway. Perhaps after all these years of listening to OK Computer, you're ready for a little Wasted Widow.
